Good Morning! I recevied your email and came onto the site this morning to discover two profiles of myself on this site. Could you please remove the second profile without the picture, it seems to be a duplicate. Many thanks, Janet
I am a geek in the wine biz and even though I am not in the tech biz, I'm a geek with tech as well- grew up with it. My Father (retired) was an electrical engineer and both of my brothers followed. Worked for the government '74 through '77 when programs ran on tapes and punch cards and punch ribbons.....ahhh, the Fortran days.
I actually looked a VinoShipper today and will be getting it setup if not today sometime this week. I had looked at it in the past, but just haven't sat down to set it up.
Great questions you are throwing out there-keep 'em comin'- this is where the geek part of me can kick in!
nope, I've grown up in Germany and England, my father lacking the french language learned during his travels to California, how Oak Barrel Wine aging works... that was back in the early 80s. He then started off his own Winery in Germany just opposite of the Alsace... building up a great reputation with burgundian style Pinots. In 1998, we have also started to make wine in New Zealand, and in 2001 founded our own winery Near Martinborough on the north Island. I will never be a Kiwi... I just have too much of a German drive ..."Schaffe Schaffe Häusle Baue" (Work, Work and build Houses) or. Work until you fall over ;-)
